I've blogged in the past about buying gift cards and coupons in order to save money. Yes that's right I said buy coupons. Here's how I just saved $195 by buying a $15 coupon. I recently purchased a sliding door from Lowes. Prior to the purchase I bought a coupon off of eBay (powered by GetItNext of course), the coupon cost me $14.50. It was a 20% off coupon for Home Depot but competitors accept them. I then went to Lowes and showed the coupon to a sales guy and he said no problem. I purchased a $950 new sliding patio door and they took $195 off BEFORE taxes. So that's a $180 in total savings and that doesn't include the tax savings. How can you beat that???
Here's a previous blog I posted about how to save with coupons and below I've included some of the best and most popular coupons you can purchase to save some serious dough in these tough economic times. How to Buy Coupons and Save Tons of Money.
