Want to go Back to the Future? Check out the world's fastest and longest range electric DeLorean. Up for auction is a 1981 DeLorean a DMC-12 that was made famous by the movie. This one however is converted to run on electric power and uses no gasoline. Its said to be quicker than a stock DeLorean and tops out over 88 MPH. Well, not all may appreciate buying an electric car that's not so fast and not so efficient with the DeLorean b I just admire the work done with this piece. Who could have imagined that working with a 1981 DeLorean that way? Probably just a fan but he gave all his time and effort for this.

I honestly believe that with the world's supply of oil diminishing and fuel prices increasing, the future of cars is electric powered vehicles. The problem is the amount of time it takes to charge, with charging points away from home taking many more minutes than it takes to fill up a conventional car with petrol. With regards to cost, it is more cost efficient to use electricity than fuel, and ideally the electricity used should be clean coming from PV panels or wind turbines.
