Ever since the age of five I've been playing Ice Hockey. Whether it was playing in house league or travel, to playing in college, it’s always been something I’ve loved and enjoyed. Nothing beats playing on the ice, but off the ice, playing NHL games for gaming consoles as well as mini sticks with the bro’s helped feed my appetite for when I wasn’t laced up. I was addicted to the NHL Hitz games and always had to have the coolest mini sticks and nets for when I played against my friends. Now that I’ve grown up though, the mini sticks and nets are now sitting somewhere in my attic along with the old Playstation 2 had with all my NHL Hitz games.
Being twenty-one, I still have some gaming years left in me (hopefully) and have moved on to my newest gaming addiction, NHL 12. NHL 12, made by EA, is hands down one of the best sports games for the 2012 gaming year. GameTrailers even ranked it 9.2 out of 10 stars, and with a review like that you know this game is the real deal. Having bought it the other day I’ve become addicted and can't drop the Xbox 360 controller. With new features from its predecessor NHL 11, you can now hit players over the opposing benches, break the glass on shots as well as hits, and Goalie’s can now fight (Patrick Roy probably made a call for this feature).
