Golden Pond Boat Floating On eBay: Bidding Over 40k

One of the boats used in the production of Oscar winning movie On Golden Pond is up for auction on eBay.  As of Wednesday afternoon there are 20 bids up to $40,000.  The bidding for the 1950 Chris Craft Sportsman ends New Years Day.

The seller claims this is one of 2 boats used for the filming and the other boat was destroyed during the movie's famous crash scene.  The owner states that they have all the necessary paperwork to prove the validity of the boat and transfer information from a boat specialist to get the boat ready for the movie which starred Jane Fonda and Katharine Hepburn.

BK Meat Inspired Cologne Sold Out - Going For Top Dollar on eBay

This is not a joke, Burger King's new meat inspired cologne called "Flame" is a Whopper of a hit. The trendy cologne is sold out at its exclusive distributor, Ricky's NYC.  The limited edition Flame costs just under $4 but check this out, it's selling for a huge premium on eBay with prices ranging over $100.

Shoemoney Selling His Body Via An eBay Auction

Jeremy Schoemaker aka Shoemoney for those of you not in the know is auctioning off free ad space on his body.  Shoe will be attending the up coming Affiliate Summit West and he is willing to wear your company logo shirt for all 3 days and 3 nights of the conference and parties.  Basically he's auctioning off product placement and guarenteeing a ton of exposure.  The bidding ends on Dec 29th and the auction is currently at $2500.  Here is a link to view the action, Jeremy Shoemoney eBay Auction.

Scarlett Johansson's Snotty Tissue Sells for $5300

Scarlett Johansson's used snotty tissue auction was a success.  Scarlett who earlier this month appeared on the Jay Leno show blew her nose into a tissue and decided to list it on eBay in an effort to raise money for charity USA Harvest.  Well she accomplished two things, 1) she helped raise awareness for USA Harvest and 2) she raised a whopping $5300 for the charity from a used tissue.

Lego Soccer Stadium Going for $20k on eBay

A Lego whiz from Australia who quit her job after 11 years has built a 22,466 lego soccer stadium and put it up for auction on eBay.  Karryn Madden has spent an estimated $9000 on the stadium which includes interactive features which include extendable grandstands and fluorescent lighting for "night games".

Bush Shoe Site SockandAwe.com Sold on eBay

Alex Tew who created milliondollarhomepage.com in 2006 just sold his Bush shoe throwing site sockandawe.com on eBay for $7818 bucks.  Not bad for a site he quickly threw together in flash that instantly started getting millions of hits after spreading virally.  It was so popular that it was burning up his servers so he decided to dump it on eBay.  The site from inception to sale was only 4 days old when he sold it.  Not a shabby return for 4 days.  Here's a link to the full article on yahoo news.
