I've played hockey all my life, and to this day I still have a hard time keeping track of the newest and latest hockey gear. I've had the Easton Stealth hockey stick for most of my hockey "career" and wouldn't buy anything else. It's light, durable for a composite and has a great flex to it. Easton has now introduced the Easton Stealth RS which is a further upgrade to the Easton Stealth S17. Here are some of the improvements...
Shaft - Easton compression-molds the shaft to allow for a custom made layer of Kevlar® on the outer wrap for protection and dampened feel. This process compacts the laminate to make it a lighter, stronger and better performing shaft that loads and unloads with more applied force.
Taper - The elliptical profile in the taper, made using a proprietary pressure molding process, results in less torsional twist and less loss of energy. The result is a quicker release.
Blade - For greater accuracy, the blade stays closed through the shot. This is achieved by combining compression and pressure processes used with advanced core materials.
With this much technology in a stick who knows what the future holds!
