Say goodbye to classic Hotmail, Microsoft rolling out Windows Live Hotmail

Well today just as always, I hopped on my computer to do my usual surf of Digg and check out my emails on Hotmail but to my suprise it seems that Hotmail has been put to rest by the new Windows Live Hotmail email service. Personally I never really liked the beta so I refused to change but it seems as though I have no choice now. Its kind of unfortunate that I am being forced out of my comfort zone for the new Windows Live version which is full of eye candy but to be honest I really just like the plain old hotmail I've been using for the past 7 years or so! I hope that there is the alternative to go back to the classic view because as nice as the new Windows Live Hotmail looks, I am more familiar with the previous version and I don't need all the visual gimmicks, its just my email! Anways just my thoughts on the matter but if you have any comments or you know how to switch back to the classic look let me know! This is just like the case with Windows Vista, I don't see the need to move away from  XP as seems to be the case for many.

Windows Live is a piece of CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!

None of these help instructions are useful, none of the methods taught here to switch back to classic hotmail are really available.

There is no button on the bottom left to “Switch back to Classic”

There is no menu option in the Options dropdown menu to “Opt out of Windows Live” or to “Switch back to Classic”

I can’t stand the new interface, and I too was upgraded to this new CRAPPY Live without consenting.

I tried to log into my old classic Hotmail and wa presented with a page that asked if I wanted to upgrade to new Live, I clicked the NO button, but wham-bam, thank-you ma’am it was sent to the new CRAP and am now stuck with it.

I’ve sent numerous emails to their Feedback, Help Central, Contact Us links, etc … and no reply.

If they don’t resolve this or provide a way to switch back SOON …. I will forward all my email and setup a new account on Yahoo or some other service and LEAVE this DUMBSH!T, CRAPPY, Live bull dung.

With all the AJAX crap, half the crap no longer loads, it constantly freezes up and I have to switch to Task Manager and end the IE session … it’s a big bunch of CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
