I continue to be thoroughly impressed with the book so far. I promised I am going to blog my impressions of the final book chapter by chapter. However, I'm not intending to give away any plot twists per se and I don't want to ruin the book for others.
Chapter 3 - Dursleys Departing
As Harry's 17th birthday (the age of "adulthood" for wizards) quickly approaches Harry is preparing to leave Privet Drive as the magical protection placed there will end. At the same time the Durleys are being placed in the wizard equivalent of the witness protection program (which is altogether too funny). It leads to some funny dialogues between Harry and his not-so-close relatives.
However, in an ironic and touching twist, Dudley in an awkward fashion, thanks Harry for saving him from the Dementors. It was nice to see that after all he'd been through at least one of the Dursley's appreciated Harry.
