Cadillac has an unveiled a gorgeous all new SRX crossover which will replace its soft selling SRX that currently looks like a raised wagon. Details on the new SRX will not be released until it is officially unveiled at auto shows later this year but based on the photos it will be a head turner. Depending on price and what's under the hood Cadillac may have a real winner on its hands. I'm very happy they went for a more truck like looking SUV vs the wagon look of the current SRX. Of course they were able to segment it out as Cadillac has now formally introduced a sport wagon into the CTS lineup. Check out this blog for more details on the Caddy wagon, Cadillac CTS wagon unveiled for 2010.

So what does Cadillac decide to do with its hottest new car the CTS? Hmm lets go and build a station wagon, not just any old wagon but a sport wagon. I have mixed feelings on this one. Yes BMW, Audi, Volvo and Benz all have wagon variants for their cars but wagons are so unhip. On the other hand wagons are hot in Europe and US manufacturers need to think globally so I understand GM's decision to build it.
So what can we expect from this sporty wagon. Pretty much all the standard CTS goodies: all wheel drive, 40 gb internal hard drive, pop-up navigation and the hand sewn interior with wood trim. It will ride on the same 113.4" wheelbase and will be .3" shorter. The one big difference will be looks and it have 25 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Here's a couple more specs:
I just got back from Seattle and couldn't help but notice that Prius' were everywhere. It seemed like every 10th car was a Toyota Prius. Even a major portion of the taxi fleet at the airport consist of PriusI. This got me to thinking about which state and or city has the most Prius' on the road. I know California has a ton but Seattle definitely is in the top 5. I checked google but couldn't come up with stats, if anyone has them please post em.
